INTER-SECTIONAL GAMES COMPETITION AT REV. A.T. NARTEY PENTECOST PREPARATORY SCHOOL

  As part of the school yearly event , Rev. A.T. Nartey Pentecost Preparatory School organised another eye-catching intersectional games. The sectional leaders were debating on who will win but it was obvious there would be one winner. It started with the quiz competition which was won by section red followed by blue,green and then yellow. The yellow and green members were disappointed and lost hope on winning. The green members gathered momentum after winning the sack race and lime and spoon race. Prizes were given to the various sectional participants. On the second day, there was a ludo game which section yellow won the game. Later in the afternoon, there was an eating competition and once again yellow won the game. On the day of athletics ,section red proved to be too strong for the other competitors even though section green gave them a good run for their money. BREAKING: Ghana Vs Nigeria rescheduled...

  The world cup qualifiers between Ghana and Nigeria has been rescheduled to 25th March and 29th March respectfully. The game was originally scheduled to take place on the 24th and 27th of March. The Black Stars will first take on their Nigerian counterparts in Cape Coast before travelling to Abuja for the second league encounter. The winner of the two-legged game qualifiers for the FIFA world cup that is set to take place in Qatar later this year. The Black Stars hope to make a return to the FIFA world cup after missing out out on the previous edition that took place in Russia.

SENEGAL CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF AFRICA

  After an exciting month of African football, AFCON 21 came to an end on Sunday, 6th February 2022. The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon came from 3 goals down to beat the Stallions of Burkina Faso for the third place position. With arguably the biggest stars of African football taking on each other in the final, Sadio Mane and his Liverpool team mate Mohammed Salah were ready to take on each other. The game kicked off at exactly 7:00pm at The Stade Omnisport Paul Biya in Yaounde. In the course of the game the Senegalese were given a glorious opportunity to take the lead as Abdelmonem brought down Ciss in the penalty area. A worldclass save from Egyptian goalkeeper Gabaski denied Sadio Mane the chance to put his country in front. At the end of 120 minutes, the game travelled to Penalties as Senegal Won by 4 goals to 2 with Sadio Mane getting the winning penalty.
