INTER-SECTIONAL GAMES COMPETITION AT REV. A.T. NARTEY PENTECOST PREPARATORY SCHOOL

 

As part of the school yearly event , Rev. A.T. Nartey Pentecost Preparatory School organised another eye-catching intersectional games. The sectional leaders were debating on who will win but it was obvious there would be one winner.

It started with the quiz competition which was won by section red followed by blue,green and then yellow. The yellow and green members were disappointed and lost hope on winning.
The green members gathered momentum after winning the sack race and lime and spoon race. Prizes were given to the various sectional participants.
On the second day, there was a ludo game which section yellow won the game. Later in the afternoon, there was an eating competition and once again yellow won the game.
On the day of athletics ,section red proved to be too strong for the other competitors even though section green gave them a good run for their money.

On the final day of the games competition, the various sections went head to head again as it was left with the soccer competition to crown the ultimate winner.
Section green lost the girls final to red as penalty misses from Milicent Acquah and Francisca Aseidu proved costly.
Section Yellow beat section blue on penalties to win the boys soccer competition.
Certificates were given to the students that took part in the athletic competition as Section Red and Section Green swept almost all the certificates away.
MVP awards for both male and female competitions were also awarded as Winifred Nyame and Stephen Arhinful led the way.

At the end of the five days action-packed intersectional games, this was the final results accumulated from the various events. ( Quiz, Lime and Spoon, Sack Race, Ludu, Eating Competition, Athletics and Soccer)

First Position - Section Red

Second Position - Section Green

Third Position - Section Yellow

Fourth Position - Section Blue
